About Jen
Jen’s Evolving Journey
Jennifer has a background in healthcare— working in ophthalmology and retinology for over a decade. In 2019, following the advice from friends and family, she decided to pursue her passion for health and fitness. She studied for her personal trainer certification and passed the test. She immediately went into training clients face-to-face and via zoom calls. In 2020, Jennifer decided to pursue her 4-year degree in Kinesiology, so she went back to school.
She currently juggles clients, classes, and twin teenage daughters! In 2022, Jen moved out of her garage gym and opened up a beautiful semi-private studio in Costa Mesa, CA. She offers small group sessions as well as private one-on-one training. The atmosphere is light and fun, while focusing on strength training at all ages.
Jennifer finds it easy to relate to her clients at all levels, as she once found herself struggling to lose the 100 pounds she gained during her pregnancy with her twins. “I felt hopeless and depressed, I didn’t even know where or how to begin, so one day I just started walking,” she says. Jen was able to lose the weight with a good diet and exercise regimen, and over the years she has worked with a few great personal trainers who inspired her love for weight lifting. It has now been over 9 years and she has managed to keep the weight off and continue to learn and grow through all of life’s obstacles and challenges, and she wants to share what she has learned with her clientele.
